Can't continue shopping

I have managed (with great difficulty) set up the simple catalog, but I now
have
the following problem. After looking at the shopping cart (url below)

http://newhost/scripts/simple.exe/order?8vCpPHQW;00-342;26


I get page not found when I try to continue shopping, the following URL is
created

http://newhost/scripts/simple.exe//?8vCpPHQW;;75

                                                ^^^^^^^^

But I don't know why.

I am using a PIII, 64mb ram with W98, activstate perl build 520, and the
sambar server 4.2.1 production release.

What have I not set up??
