Problems Shipping To Canada
Hey guys,
I have been looking through the docs and the list all day trying to setup
our store to ship to Canada using UPS rate tables and zone charts. The
information there seems to assume that I know something I don't, as far as
I can tell. Please see below:
1) Here's the shipping related Database lines from catalog.cfg:
Database Ground Ground.csv CSV
Database 2ndDayAir 2ndDayAir.csv CSV
Database NextDayAir NextDayAir.csv CSV
Database canstnd canstnd.csv CSV
2) Here's the Canada (CA) line from my country.asc:
CA CA upsca Canada
3) Here's the upsca line from shipping.asc:
upsca UPS Canada weight 0 0 c C UPS_Canada
products/can.csv
upsca UPS Canada weight -1 -1 o PriceDivide=0
upsca UPS Canada weight 0 150 C upsca [default zip A0A]
0.00
upsca UPS Canada weight 150 99999 e @@TOTAL@@ lbs too heavy
for UPS
I followed the docs and added this block and removed the spaces and
replaced with tabs as instructed. But I noticed that the other entries had
the formula name matching the Database line in catalog.cfg. So I changed
the c C UPS_Canada products/can.csv formula to c C canstnd products/can.csv
so that it matches what's in catalog.cfg but it made no difference.
Also, how is the 0 weight handled? The other shipping methods have the
line: weight 0 0 e Nothing to ship!
How should this be added here, or is it necessary?
4) Here's an excerpt from can.csv
Destination,canstnd
A0A-A9Z, 55
B0A-B9Z, 55
C0A-C9Z, 55
E0A-E9Z, 55
G0A-G0A, 52
This has been modified as instructed in the docs.
5) And finally, an excerpt from canstnd.csv
Weight,51,52,53,54,55,56
1,7.00,7.05,7.10,11.40,11.45,11.50
2,7.55,7.65,7.75,11.95,12.05,12.10
3,8.10,8.15,8.40,12.60,12.70,12.85
4,8.65,8.70,9.00,13.20,13.30,13.55
5,9.20,9.25,9.75,13.85,13.85,14.20
6,9.70,9.85,10.35,14.45,14.50,14.90
7,10.25,10.40,11.10,15.15,15.15,15.70
This also matches what the docs show as examples.
I have followed these docs as best I know how and I can't make this thing
work. The best I have been able to make it work still gives me this error:
Note: No match found for mode 'upsca', quantity '13', returning 0. No match
found for mode 'upsca', quantity '13', returning 0.
This is when trying to order a 13 pound item from the store.
It does show me the proper description in the shipping method select box on
the checkout page, but has a $0.00 value as: UPS Canada $0.00
This was all tested with Canada selected as the country and with the postal
code: T2P 5C6 which is Alberta Canada.
Could someone please point me in the right direction here? I think I may
have been looking at this thing too long and have gotten a brain cramp...
It shouldn't be this hard.
Thanks much,
Cameron Prince
