Different action by ordering item (with whitspace) with different mv tag!

Hello list,

i have told about the trouble with an item-code like "1234 56789" (with
whitespace). Someone from the list has give me, i have to replace the
whitespace with "%20". OK! I have done this with a little perl code.
But why can MV order item with whitespace and with another mv order
tag, it get failure? I.e.


[order [item-code]] Buy item with whitespace like "1234 56789"[/order] 

this mv tag can't order this item. And


[page form="
	 mv_order_item=[item-code]
         mv_order_quantity=1
         mv_todo=refresh"] 
         Buy item with whitespace like "1234 56789"
[/page]

this mv tag can order this item with success. Because this tag replace
the whitespace with "%20". 

Can someone explain me why?
