running cgi-script from minivend page

  Well we have tried all the suggestions provided from the list so far with no luck. The
[include] tagging brings back the code of the perl script to the page not the executed
program. When I encase it in [perl] tags on the page as in:
[perl]
all the code goes here
[/perl]
I get nothing and I have a error return set. I do not get the error return either, just
blank nothing. I have tried the UserTag and the tag is displayed as in I see:
[mytag]
displayed on the page. Code runs fine when directly executed with a url. The only thing I
have not tried yet is shtml but as I recall [include] doesn't like shtml. Does anyone
have any more ideas or ideas on how to cure what I presently have? I am running 3.12 with
the sample catalog from 3.11
