I've installed MiniVend on a virtual server. The mv_admin is not
needed for running the shops.

MiniVend should be installed outside the directories with the
documents served by the web server.

You could be running the checkstat.sh script in the MiniVend
distribution by cron each 5 minutes or something like that.

I think it is not needed, but you have to answer all questions
by your self.
