Did I miss something about INDEX.HTML?

Is there something new about this index.html page I have missed
that makes me unable to see my database of products?

All I get is errors. In Fact, if I try to add another
Painting to the Simple Demo I get an error in the Index page?

I can see the database on any other page but Index unless
I only use the Art gallery. There must be something I need to 
delete.
