Reasonable... I don't know. It is possible.

I actually created a site that has at least some of the features you
mention. There are no static pages at all, and it is possible for users to
create a presence including a store via online interfaces. This includes
updating and maintaining their products and store specific info via web
interface, and a shopping cart specific to the individual store. Additional
store specific web pages are not yet available for on-line editing, the
product flypages are currently off-line as well, there is much room for
more development and improvement, but the core features are up and running.

The only static page has a refresh header that sends the web-user to the
store cgi, there are no additional cgis used in the site, everything is
served through minivend.

Doing this requires experience with minivend and a lot of work, knowledge
of some of the inner workings of minivend helps a great deal. An
implementation of the complete solution you suggest would take minivend to
the limits, but it can be done.
