Re: Multiple Use for Minivend

****** message to minivend-users from cfm@maine.com ******

Minivend's page building is pretty weak compared even to something
like php ( which I'm not a personal fan of ). We do, however, use minivend
for huge chunks of our interactive forms pages including those that allow
clients to add catagories, products, specials, etc.... For minivend pages
and regular pages we use our own C-api embedded perl/mysql page builder. The key
for us is that both cpage and minivend talk to the same databases. They both
talk to the same registered user database, etc.... Minivend alone isn't
going to do it.
