Unfortunately I don't have the ability to rebuild Redhat.  I am setting this
up on an ISP for a friend.  I don't have any control of when or how things
get updated or rebuilt.

Here is some aditional information that may be handy.

i had vlink and tlink problems too.
i tried and tried but no luck.
so i rebuilt from scratch RH5.1 on i386 and loaded MV 3.11 and all is
well. make sure you have the correct perl version 5.004.04 or higher.
