[ic] Adding a new field for Transactions database

Hi, I'm trying to add a new field for the transactions db.

I added "delivery_type: [value name=delivery_type]" to the log_transaction 
file after "[import table=transactions type=LINE continue=NOTES]" but I 
don't think it is working to actually add that field in the transactions db 
and save to it what is being inputted to "delivery_type" at checkout.  I've 
looked at transaction.txt after a reconfiguration of IC, but that file 
doesn't seem to be updated with new orders anymore.  Does anyone know what I 
can do to make transactions.txt update with new orders again?

Is there something else I need to do to get the new field working for 
transactions?  Thank you!
