[ic] Very strange search results issue

I've been setting up my products to be dynamically pulled from the 
products.txt database with one-click searching.  I'm about 95% done, but 
I've run up against a very strange problem that I can't find a solution to 
in the docs.

Here's my search:

The [more-list] code needs a little tweaking, I know.  The weird thing is 
when I run the search the first page comes up with unique results, but the 
next page has 5 out of 6 duplicates from the previous page.  HOWEVER, when I 
change the matchlimit to 15 so all 15 Candles are displayed on one page, it 
displays perfectly with no duplicates.  What am I missing?
