         Well, what exactly doesn't work?  ;-)   I'd check the permissions 
of your tlink/vlink program in the cgi-bin, make sure it is set 
suid.  Also, check the minivend logs to see if it thinks it is starting the 
failed catalogs.  If minivend is happy with them it would most definitely 
be the tlink/vlink.
