server_not_running error

I have found many questions on the listserv about this error, but no
answers?  I am attempting to install minivend 3.12 on a Sparc running
Solaris 2.5.1.  When I get to make test, I receive the following error:

I have successfully installed and configured Minivend on two other machines
with an almost identical configuration.  The difference with this new
machine is that it has cybercash and a secure server?

We are ready to go into production mode and I need to get Minivend running
with Cybercash.  Can someone please help.
