MiniMate: problem reading catalog.cfg with default installation

Hello,

I just installed MiniMate-3.14.0.3 and I'm running it with
minivend-3.12. I'm experiencing some permissions problems with the
default install settings. I can visit the main frames-based admin page
fine, but clicking on the link for the simpler Minimate causes an
internal server error.
I find this in the logs:

199.120.185.113 H7YjxjwU:nobody - [17/November/1999:16:08:50 -0500]
store /store.cgi/config/menu Runtime error: read catalog.cfg: Permission denied

First, I'm curious as to way this is running as nobody. I'm using SuExec
with Apache, so usually things run as the user rather than nobody.

Second, the permissions on the file _do_ appear to allow user nobody to
read the file anyway:
-rw-r--r-- 1 music music 34054 Nov 17 16:04
/home/music/catalogs/store/catalog.cfg
 drwxr-sr-x 9 mvend music 512 Nov 17 16:08 .

Also, sometimes i get this in the logs:
199.120.185.113 H7YjxjwU:nobody - [17/November/1999:16:38:27 -0500]
store /store.cgi/admin/ Hammered session lock LOCK_H7YjxjwU:nobody left
by PID 14384
199.120.185.113 H7YjxjwU:nobody - [17/November/1999:16:38:27 -0500]
store /store.cgi/admin/ Runtime error: ERROR: parser: parse error at or
near ""
>

Deleting the session.db file seems to fix this, but in general, I think
it would nice to get a script name and a line number with an error like:
'parser: parse error at or near ""' :)

Any help is appreciated.

   Thanks,

   -mark
