I put this at the top of my flypage:
[tag flag build][/tag]
[set lastproduct][item-code][/set]
[set mv_put_session]Yes[/set]
And then in my basket page:
<A HREF="[area href="[scratch lastproduct]"]" onmouseout="window.status=''"
onmouseover="window.status='Prev - Go back to last product';return
true"><IMG SRC="prev.gif" BORDER=0 ALT="( PREV }"></A>

When you add/delete an item, while using frames, I believe MiniVend will
refresh that sidebar. At least, that's how I thought it was configured at
default. I personally gave up on frames.
