external Perl scripts without forms
hello
I am using Minivend 3.12 in a UNIX environment with FREEBSD and Apache.
Apache is used in combination with chroot.
Minivend is used to create a shoppping mall. The shops are not allowed to
run other perl scripts. Minivend is the only part that uses Perl via the INET
mechanism.
This results in the following problem:
I want to use an external payment service which can be started via a certain
Perl script. Some paprameters of this extarnal script are the returning pages
of the shop at the moment the payment is finished.
The problem is that I can not run this script via a simple form because of the
restrictions mentioned earlier (a shop is not allowed to run Perl scripts).
A possible sollution is to execute the External Perl script on the Minivend
side. But instead of showing a page, Minivend should stop after calling this
script.
Can anybody tell me if it is possible to run external scripts without using
forms and how I should implement this?
Or is there another way to handle this problem?
