sort.test file?

Hello list,

i have look into the tmp directory and i see a file "sort.test". In
this file i read a line

"you_have_no_sort_but_we_will_cope"

What is the meaning of this line? 
I have a little bit of trouble to sort items in my results page and i
have thought, i have solve it a little bit. It works not 100%. Can
someone explain me, why this file (sort.test) is there?
