You don't need root access to build / Install OpenSSL / Net::SLeay in a
non-default location. There are instructions (as well as a mailing list) at
http://www.openssl.org.  I'm not sure how good the docs are at this point,
but the people on the mailing list are pretty helpful.

To use weblink.asp, you must create a "multiple page" order checkout
process.  I know there has been some discussion about how to do this on the
list - check the archives.

A receipt is normally sent automatically by Minivend. When using weblink,
you will need some extra coding (and maybe an "in between" CGI script) to
to translate the weblink silent post into a form that Minivend can
understand.  This is non-trivial, which is why I recommend going with step #1.
