how to implement authorize.net

Hello,

(1) I have tried to use the CCLib.pm which is provided in order to integrate 
authorize.net. However, it requires a Net::SSLeay.pm which
I can not install without root accwss.
Is it true that I need root access to install the necessary libraries ?

(2) So, I thought I should use 'weblink.asp' of authorize.net instead.
The script hands the control of the webpage to authorize.net to process 
creadit card order. Is this possible ?
If so, where should I put the code to call 
'http://www.authorize.net/../weblink.asp' ?
Also, is there a way to send recipt from minivend ?
