This is well-documented in the docs in the major section about searches.
50 results per page is the default, but you can override it by setting
mv_matchlimit (ml) to the number of results per page that you want, in a
form-based search:

<input type="hidden" name="mv_matchlimit" value=100>

or a link-based search:

[page scan
  se="your search string"
  sp="your results page"
  ml="100"]

All newbies, please take note - I am a newbie too.  Accept it right now
that you will have to read through the minivend docs SEVERAL TIMES while
constantly applying what you have learned before things really start to
sink in.  At that point you may achieve competence with basic minivend; you
will also need to learn PERL if you really want to be a power user (that is
my next step).  Take it to heart!
