mv_credit_card_number not saving in UserDB?!

Hi All:
	I am trying to get the mv_credit_card_number or mv_credit_card_info to
save into the users database... however, its not even saving at all! 
The weird thing though is if I attempt to save the expiration date
(month/year) in the userdb it works fine... any ideas?
