MiniMate Internationalization problem

Hi

I instaled MiniMate and that works great. (Just had some litle problems with
permisions , but documentation on minimate site is enought to fix it :)  )

BUT There IS one BIG problem for me.

I noticed that MiniMate changes codetables for database strings.
e .g  if I put new record with Baltic  encoded symbols like àèæáûá
(windows-1257  Baltic Encoding) into DB via MiniMate everything OK.
But when I'm tryin edit these records all symbols are translated and saved
in western encoding.
If I save them again , then after editing those symbols changing from
western encoding to chars encoded  like #234;

So I think there is a problem with MiniMate with saving right char table or
smthn.  :(

Or maybe that thing is known , and already is on TO DO list?
