session.db size

Hello folks,

   Docs seem to say that with GDBM you can compact session database but if
not you can either let it run wild (I'm at 9.5 meg in about 2 1/2 weeks) or
delete it and lose all the user information? (including saved username and
pword info?) Am I missing something? Thanks for the help.
