I would use a second "course" table like:
course books
Econ 201 ISBN1,ISBN2
Econ 202 ISBN2,ISBN3,ISBN4
Econ 203 ISBN3,ISBN5
Then you could do course listing with sub-listing of the books for that
course under it. You can see an example of how this is done in the demo
using the "related" field to [loop] through the codes (in you case it
would be the books field).
