Can't connect to the MySQL database

I think I am missing some Perl modules:
I have installed DBI 1.06, and p5-Mysql-modules and MySQL 3.22.22 and
miniVend 3.12 on perl 5.00502
When I try to use:
database products products.asc dbi:mysql:minivend:localhost:3306
I get message saying something like that:
Can't find routine open_table...
What is wrong???
