some tags not interpreted when switching from 3.11 > 3.12

Hi from Germany.

I recently upgraded from mnivend 3.11 to 3.11
I encountered problems with the new simple demo store
some tags e.g. [var .. ] or [bar button ..]
don't seem to be interpreted.
Is that a general problem or has that something to to with my uprade.

On that page the whole menu bar is affected and disrupted.

I installed yust the new simple demo on topt of the old simple demo and
didn't change anything
else.
