Re: Checkstat.sh - does not remove 'mv_failed'
****** message to minivend-users from "Lyn St George" <lyn@zolotek.com> ******
To clarify: cd mvend/bin. Issue ./stop and ./checkstat.sh.
Minivend restarts, and generates a file mv_failed. All
well and good so far.
Then, for the SECOND time, issue ./stop and ./checkstat.sh,
and nothing happens. Minivend does_not_restart.
Manually remove mv_failed, then issue ./checkstat.sh,
and Minivend will restart. The script is meant to remove
mv_failed, but does not. Without this file being removed,
the script cannot proceed to the end where it issues
the ./restart, and so everything is dead in the water.
This happens on 3 systems. RH5.2 + MV3.12.
RH4.2 + MV3.12, RH4.2 + MV3.11.
