Problem with makecat

Hello list:
Recently upgraded to 3.12, running on Solaris.
I have not made a new catalog for a while, but now when running makecat, it
hangs right after this line:
-----------------------
Catalog name? simple
makecat -- MiniVend catalog installation program.
*** We will be making a catalog named 'simple'. ***
-----------------------
Program hangs here.
No entries in logfiles anywhere, only clue I see is when doing a ps...
user 29658 29657 0 23:31:17 pts/0 0:00 /bin/csh -cf set nonomatch; glob
/*/ns-home/cgi
user 29657 29642 0 23:31:17 pts/0 0:00 sh -c /bin/csh -cf 'set nonomatch
; glob /*/ns-home/cgi*' 2>/dev/null
Any ideas what "set nonomatch" means? Why is it the script hanging here - it
never did before. Anyone have a similar problem?
