I have several issues I'd like to pass by the group to help fine tune my
site.

First of all, I need some advice on managing the session database.  I've
noticed my database grows rather quickly, even when there are only one or
two users in say a twelve hour period - I've seen it grows 1 MB on my test
site with only me testing under two different login names.  If I look at the
database file, the same scratch variables appear over and over again.

Slightly off the subject, is it normal for scratch variables to appear in
the userdb or other databases, I've noticed this when viewing them.

What is the purpose of SaveExpire?  How do you save a session or when does
it occur and why?

Finally, I've seen two error pop up in my error log from time to time and I
don't know what causes them or how to fix them.

1) Runtime error: Data was not stored in DBM file

What are some of the possible causes of this error, it's very difficult to
reproduce this error and seems random.

2) Hammered session lock LOCK_8nGx8KgA:bright.net left by PID 23185

This is an occasional error, maybe once every three or four days.  In the
docs it says if this error appears you may want to check the config.  What
would I change to make this error go away?
