I would assume that MiniVend is Y2k Compliant since perl is compliant
relying on the system clock. The rest is machine dependant; ie UNIX-like
== OK until 2038 with 32bit time 64bit time == for the next million years;
and Windows NT == well another "N"ice "T"ry...
