remote admin and file upload

Hey guys,

    I have minivend up and running... it's running swell in tandem with
mysql but I'm running under freebsd and don't plan on installing
netscape 4 anytime soon. (The installer assumes netscape is installed).
I've monkeyed with MasterHost to run the admin off my win95 laptop (best
case sceneario) and tried to get http://localhost:7739/mv_admin to
happen on the machine under kde's filemanager (http happy) to no avail.

So .. what I am asking for is any ideas on how mv_admin is configurable,
particularly to a remote host or whole subnet and  how to adjust
permissions so it is secure, and docs on what it can do... I have never
actually seen it running. I've looked in the docs to see whether I can
upload asc's and images  via form uploads ...but there isn't much detail
on the admin tool.
