Sorting search results

Hi All,
    When you search for something and it sorts the results, and it uses
multiple pages through [more], it only sorts them page by page, and not the
entire search results.  For instance, if you are sorting by price you will
have $1 - $50 on page 1, but may have $3 - $60 on page 2.  It seems it
should be $1 -$24 on page 1, and $25 - $60 on page 2, (or whatever).

    Am I missing the proper way to do this, or are the results being sent to
sort on a page by page basis, rather than the entire list upfront?
