 You should consider joining the WebAccountant development team.
WebAccountant is 
free web-based open-source accounting software, written in Perl and DBI.
My business partner developed a version which we are using internally,
and now he has opened up the project to others, to develop a major
revision to the software. We are interested in the possibility of having
it interface with Minivend somehow, probably by be being driven by the
same SQL database.
