Re: don't understand what [tag flag build] does
****** message to minivend-users from Thomas Walter <tw@mail.itreff.de> ******
As far as I understand the docs, "static" pages are pages that are
inside the html-tree of your shop. What it means is that the pages are
generated once by MV - not every time they are accessed. This is done to
increase performance.
Some MV-tags (dynamic elements like [item-lists], etc.] cause static
page building to fail (as mentioned in the docs). If there is a [tag
flag build] on the top of the page the builder ignores all dynamic
elements and builds the page statically.
To start static page building you have to add the parameter -build shop
when invoking MV.
So as long as you do not start MV with this parameter you will see no
different. If you do the results-page is build statically (with [tag
flag build]) or not (without).

PS: I have not used static page building by now - if this is wrong
please ignore ;).
