If I recall correctly, Thawte's deal is actually a bit nicer than that.
They offer $125 for the first year/certificate, then $100 for each
additional year for that certificate, or $100 for each additional
certificate.
The catch is, the cert has to be either in the same domain (relatively
useless for the majority of us), or it has to be purchased through the
ISP/reseller program. So, check with the ISP, and if you get their
reseller code, they might be able to shave another $25 off the first year.
(and if they don't once, you get to try to convince them that they should
pay you for saving them money later...*grin*)
