I'm thinking to resolve the problem re-designing the database, introducing a
table containing (key,settore) pair values, with numeric keys, and using the
keys in the products table. Or at last avoiding single-quotes from the
table.

Yes, it's a typo in my message, the code is OK.
(about sorting)

No error reported! Simply the sorting seems to be ignored
