Re: Remembering mv_searchspec (Was: Re: Thanks a lot!)

****** message to minivend-users from Frank Miedreich <miedreich@acm.org> ******

Hi Gideon,

This is actually covered in the documentation (tag selected and checked)
but ok:

- Save the mv_search_field in a variable let's say [value search_field]

put the following line into the set search values block:
[value name="search_field" set="[value mv_search_field]"]

- replace the option lines:

<option VALUE="Artist" selected>By Artist
becomes
<option VALUE="Artist" [selected name="search_field" value="Artist"]>By Artist
do this for all options.

- If you happen to develop an online record store, send nice techno CD to me
  (hardtrance or acid)

This step may not be necessary to make the solution work.

Cheers, Frank
