Since there arent that many templates, what I did is just make a
bar/button.html bar/button2.html etc. for each template that did not need
the search button on the search page or checkout button on the checkout
page. Also you can define items like this in the catalog.cfg. You can have
several (15 I think) different backgrounds tags using [body] this also applys
to [buttons] tag. Look in the docs under catalog.cfg tags for using these.
