[ic] Simply adding another shipping mode to checkout...

alright.  Ive looked through the archives and the documentation but just 
cant get this working.  How does one add a shipping method to the checkout?
   What i THOUGHT you had to do is:

make or select a shipping method from the shipping.asc file. (lets say FEG)
and then edit the country database table to include that method under the 
list of methods to use.

Seems that i may be missing something basic here.  I tried it with a bunch,
  and cat figure out any difference in why the UPS settings are working but 
*nothing* else.  Once getting over this small (and possibly moronically 
dumb) hurdle, i should be able to do some cool shipping things.
