[mv] Bad Perl?? Help!

Hello folks,

I am running MV 3.11 and Interchange 4.6 on a RH7 i386 machine.

I am getting FREQUENT but not predictable or constant segmentation
faults and core dumps. The server(s) will not even start up reliably
every time. In the htpd logs I get TONS of these sorts of errors:

Premature end of script headers: /var/www/cgi-bin/store

for both the old MV and the new interchange.

I have re-installed (and updated when available) Perl (5.6.0) glibc
(2.2) gcc, and several other OS parts.

I have recompiled both MV and IC.  I have installed IC from the RPM, I
have build perls from scratch, and installed from RPMS.

I have used memtest to test the memory.  I am not getting any other
strange errors on the machine.

Can ANYone shed any light?

PS. I would like to express my discontent at having to use my real
email address as opposed to my bigfoot address in the name of
anti-spam when this email then becomes available on the internet in
the MV/IC maillist databases.  -  JMHO
