I wanted to let you know that I just completed my first Minvind 4.02
install and I had exactly the same condition. I am not too concerned,
because the only place it happens is on the welcome page - a regular HTML
page outside of the catalog - which I wont' be using anyway, at least not
on the way that the simple demo is set up.
Once inside the catalog, all the links on the footer bar work fine. I
wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you - I think it is just a minor
HTML syntax error in the makecat script or something. If you look at the
source for the welcome page you will see that the URL path in each link is
correct, except that it is written like a relative link (NOT preceeded by
"http://";), so the browser interprets the footer links as being to a
subdirectory in the current doc space.
