[mv] MV4 INstall problem on Linux RH61

Hello

1st time posting. I've been using V3 for months now and almost have my site
up and ready to run. I like the order status checking that V4 has and wanted
to try to install that.

I cp the tar file to /home/mvadmin/miniven*latest.tar.gz
gzip it in place to minivend-4.02 subdir
cd to minivend-4.02
ran "perl Makefile.PL"

sometimes it asks me about cpan and I have tried "no" and "yes"
then where I want to install to - "/home/mvadmin/mvend402" I have also tried
default location
then it says can't write to scripts/initp.pl

Can anyone tell me why I get this error?
I have tried creating install dir with scripts/ and I've tried this without
install dir existing.
I"ve tried a lot of different scenarios!





Any help would be appreciated.
