Maybe you can change your codes in your results page like

<A HREF="[area form="
                    mv_order_item=[item-code]
                    mv_order_quantity=1 
                    mv_todo=refresh"]" 
>Order this item!</A> 

? The will not add seperate entries. This will increase the quantity!
