I think the FONT tag is not the problem. Anyone with
a browser not Stylesheet-compliant can still interact
with MiniMate and the look will impaired only to a small degree.

Besides being a good browser, I'm using Lynx for checking authentification
issues so I don't have to restart Netscape. This is little bit more
difficult with telnet.
