MV order from non minivend page

Can anyone tell me whether or not it's possible to order an item on a web
page that does not run from within the Minivend catalog?  (If it's not
possible, I can just run it from within Minivend like it's supposed to be,
but I'd sure like to be able to... )

Both of the following examples below work all the way through the order
process...  (When the order is completed, an appropriate receipt page AND an
appropriate email receipt are both provided.)  The order itself, however, is
NOT produced.

Example (1)
On a page at: "www.mydomain.com/page.html"
I tried:
<FORM METHOD=POST
ACTION="http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/mycatalog/process?">
<input type=hidden name="mv_order_item" value="myitemsku">
<input type=hidden name="mv_doit" value="refresh">
<input type=submit name="mv_junk" value="Order this Item">
</FORM>


Example (2)
On the same page: "www.mydomain.com/page.html"
I tried:
<FORM METHOD=POST
ACTION="http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/mycatalog/order?;myitemsku">
<input type=submit name="mv_junk" value="Order this Item">
</FORM>

Both examples produce the results which are described at the top of this
message.
