Adding Javascript functions to catalog

Is there any easy way to add a hefty amount of Javascript code to the HEAD 
section of all my minivend pages?  My client wants to make the navigation 
images change color when you move your mouse over them.  Really simple 
little script, but it takes a lot of setup code to do that really simple 
function.  And I'm not looking forward to going into each and every file 
with a HEAD in it and copying in that code, because I know I'll probably 
miss one.  Plus if they decide they want to change things later, then I 
have to go thru each one of those files again and change the script.  Any 
suggestions of how I can make this easier to maintain?
