Notepad is leaving Ctrl characters at the end of each line, which
your ftp app *should* but may not remove on upload.
Go to www.utopia-planitia.de and get MED - this is a text editor/IDE
which has evrything: save in dos/unix/mac line formats; visible
tabs, blah blah. Only available now for os/2 and win32, but the author
says he will produce a linux version "some time". Only $25 shareware.
(Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in this)
Also check the 2 error logs - one in the minivend root and one
in the catalogue root.
