Minivend compatability with other software

Hi all,

We have signed up with LinkShare, an affiliate program. Their software
needs to work with Minivend for us to be able to implement the program.
LinkShare told us that this is what we need to be able to do with
Minivend for their software to work with it:

"In order to implement the LinkShare software you must be able to
capture our 34 byte string (siteID).  In order to capture this string
you must have access to the shopping cart;  Can you add scripts? can you
set a cookie (if need be)?"

I am not a programmer, so I'm only *fairly* certain we can do these
things, not positive. I did see a question about partners programs in
the FAQ, but I couldn't tell if the answer answered my question!

Can anyone help me with this? We really want to get this program
implemented.
