Hi Scott,

I worked all night 'till 7am with this - works fine now... actually,
looking back on it all, it wasn't really that difficult to get MySQL to
work with MiniVend. I found the answer from putting about 15 messages from
the list here together with about 20 from the Cobalt list, and bingo!

I can feel a few more questions cropping up though... 

(The MiniVend List is like an oracle - you have to work hard at formulating
the question before you get an answer. Also, I have found, as soon as I hit
the send key on a question, I find the answer 5 minutes later. This is also
like going to the dentist - the pain always disappears in the waiting room).
