Re: [mv] Session ID is still in URL!

The immediately obvious thing is that you're using BSD
(I think?) which may have some influence on it.
Less obvious is what I've just discovered - that different
webservers handle perl *very* differently. On my ISP
(Linux RH 4.2, kernel 2.0.36, perl 5.00404, Apache 1.34) this
code works fine to hide those id's. On my local system
(os/2) with perl 5.00553, Apache 1.3.6 also hides them but
refuses to handle MV locales (MV otherwise works fine).
Powerweb hides id's, handles locales, and runs MV
perfectly. Apache 1.3.9, using the perl cgi, totally refuses to
handle MV, as it's "unsetting the perl environment" (blah
not found in @INC). Exactly the same under Linux (RH5.2
kernel 2.2.9, perl 5.00502) - Apache 1.3.9 also refuses to
handle the perl cgi - though the compiled C cgi is fine.
Don't know if this helps, but it might (?) give you some
pointers on where to look.
